At SmokySewCo, we don’t just create clothes; we craft legacies. From our studio in the Great Smoky Mountains, we transform fabric into timeless stories, blending tradition, creativity, and fearless innovation into every stitch.
Jackqueline’s love for sewing began at just seven years old, under the guidance of her grandmother, who taught her the artistry of needle and thread. She turned that passion into a career, earning her degree in fashion design from Brenau University. Her journey took her to Washington, D.C., where she became a master tailor through a rigorous apprenticeship. Her talent reached new heights when she restored priceless textiles for the Smithsonian, proving her work is as meticulous as it is visionary.
Nicholas, SmokySewCo’s creative powerhouse, brings a unique edge to the brand. A Philly native and former professional dancer, he channeled his artistic energy into audio engineering and photography at the Art Institute of Atlanta. With a passion for all forms of creativity, Nicholas infuses SmokySewCo designs with bold, modern energy, ensuring every piece is as dynamic as the people who wear them.
But it’s not just about the work—it’s about the journey. Together, Jackqueline and Nicholas have traveled the country with their five dogs, exploring the beauty and diversity of the world around them. That incredible trip not only deepened their bond but also inspired the unique, adventurous spirit that’s woven into every SmokySewCo design.
We specialize in custom clothing, reworked vintage, and jaw-dropping bridal, prom, and special event pieces. At SmokySewCo, we believe clothing isn’t just something you wear—it’s a way to tell your story.
